Sales & Marketing Manager – Mombasa
Company Profile:
Our Client is a  subsidiary of a  Group of companies that is currently one the largest manufacturers that provides innovative products and services to the Steel Industry:
Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, – Steel Division,the incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to exploit business opportunities in the Steel Industry.
 
Specific responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Planning, implementing and coordinating of sales activities
  • Undertake  business analysis and scenario planning for new business opportunities
  • Monitor and advise of significant developments in the competitive business climate, government and legislative activities that may impact the business
  • Undertaking business development researches that include specifying marketing segments , monitoring competition activities and SWOT Analysis
  • Develop strong partnership with distributors and key customers and initiate joint marketing opportunities
Requirements
The incumbent should possess the following minimum qualifications and competencies:
  • A Business related degree with a bias in Marketing
  • Ten (10) years relevant experience with an established track record of Sales ; preferably in the Steel Industry
  • Experience of selling to Companies at Director level in the Upper and Middle Income Markets
  • Knowledge of Gujarati/ Hindi would be an asset.

Pupilage Programme
The National Assembly is one of the institutions set out in the Council of Legal Education (Admission) Regulations, 2007 as an institution in which students of the Kenya School of Law may undertake their pupilage program.
The Parliamentary Service Commission now seeks three (3) highly motivated Kenyans to undertake their pupilage program in the National Assembly for a period of six (6) months commencing January, 2013.
 
The successful pupils shall be selected from applicants who-
(a) possess at least a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree (Upper Second Class Honours) from a recognized University;
(b) are admitted to the Kenya School of Law;
(c) demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili, evidenced by a score of at least “B” plain grade in both subjects;
(d) demonstrate a proactive attitude and willingness to learn and to be part of a team handling challenging tasks within strict timelines; and
(e) are computer literate.
Applications, together with a copy of the letter of admission to the Kenya School of Law, certified copies of academic certificates and testimonials, should be submitted so as to be received on or before Friday 26th October, 2012.
